After the Rajput Karni Sena President Mahakaal  Makrana threatened Deepika Padukone of maiming her and beheading Sanjay Leela Bhansali, the whirlwind of controversy keeps growing by the day for the film. In the new episode of the Padmavati controversy, there’s a new twist in Bhansali’s magnum opus. It seems like the film has already become a public property as decisions are being made with the film’s content externally now. Recently, a petition was filed in the Supreme Court on Friday seeking the deletion of some objectionable content from the controversial movie Padmavati. According to ANI, this petition was filed by a lawyer, who demands few objectionable scenes to be trimmed from the film. Speaking to news agency ANI, Rajput Karni Sena president Lokendra Singh Kalvi said a situation has been created where we cannot apply our brains. “Don’t provoke us,” Kalvi said. The outfit has called for a nationwide bandh on December 1 against the release of Padmavati. “Mat bhadkaao humein, ye film nahin lagne denge. Josh hai, hosh kho dene waali stithi hai, iss stithi ko laa kaun raha hai? (Don’t provoke us. We are angry. We cannot be silent now. Who is creating such an atmosphere?),” Karni Sena chief said. The founder of the organisation had earlier said that not only the Rajput community or Hindu organisations but even Muslim leaders had come against the film, against which there was resentment across the country.
