By posting a picture of his wife, Gauri Khan, performing a Diwali puja, Bollywood star Shah Rukh Khan sent his followers Diwali greetings. The caption accompanying the photo, which he shared on social media, said, “Happy Diwali to everyone! May you be blessed with wealth and joy by Goddess Lakshmi ji. I’m sending love, light, and peace to everyone. Fans responded favorably to the gesture and praised the actor’s understated participation in this year’s celebrations.
Khan did not throw the traditional Diwali celebration, which is a highly awaited event in Bollywood’s holiday calendar, at his home in Mannat this year. Sources claim that the actor decided to celebrate with his family in a more subdued manner because of ongoing repairs at the Mumbai house.
Khan’s message went viral online even though there was no star-studded event. Many fans described the post as having “pure Mannat vibes,” and they showered the comments with well wishes and emojis. One more wrote, “That’s why people love, King Khan, Shahrukh Khan. Despite knowing that many people will now target him for wishing Diwali, he treats every religion equally by showcasing his generous mentality. Celebrating festivals & spreading happiness needs no boundaries, they are ubiquitous.”

Meanwhile, Shah Rukh Khan and Lee Jung-jae from “Squid Game” appeared in a widely shared social media crossover a few days before Diwali. “Proud to be with a respected icon Mr. @iamsrk (sic),” the Emmy-winning actor said as the caption for a selfie he shared on Instagram with Khan. The post attracted a lot of attention from around the world.
The picture, which had Lee wearing a casual hoodie and Khan dressed entirely in black, sparked a barrage of positive remarks. Some fans said, “My multiverse is complete,” while others called the event “the crossover of the century.”
With Suhana Khan, Deepika Padukone, Abhishek Bachchan, and Raghav Juyal among the actors, Khan is presently filming “King,” which is directed by Siddharth Anand. One of the most awaited films in Indian cinema, it is slated for release in 2026.
