Shah Rukh Khan's Dear Zindagi gets green signal by censor board with NO cuts!

Shah Rukh Khan and Alia Bhatt are winning hearts through their new upcoming film Dear Zindagi‘s promos. The movie is set to release on November 25, 2016. The team of Dear Zindagi until now has released four takes or promos, giving a glimpse of what will be inside the movie. It has Alia Bhatt and Shah Rukh Khan in the lead and they portray a unique relationship – she is troubled in love with four men being cause of her worry at different times, while he is her counsellor and mentor. Shah Rukh Khan has yet again managed to win hearts with his dimpled smile and overall look in Dear Zindagi, while Alia Bhatt looks super adorable in this much awaited film!

Dear Zindagi is directed by Gauri Shinde and people have high expectations from it. Gauri’s first movie English Vinglish was a super hit with its rather out-of-the-box script and Sridevi’s acting. Looking at the trailer and songs of Dear Zindagi, we can expect something new just like English Vinglish from the director. And you will be surprised to know that we are not the only ones who are Dear Zindagi fans already. Dear Zindagi was screened for the Central Board of Film Certification (CBFC) or as you call it, the censor board, and the board is impressed by it! In fact, CBFC finds Dear Zindagi flawless.

The board did not cut a single scene from the movie and Dear Zindagi got an all clear with a ‘UA’ certificate. The movie will release without any cuts and that is really commendable in today’s times! Talking about the same, a source told DNA, “There is not a single cut, verbal or visual. The Board actually said it would be a crime to cut even one shot from the film. They also singled out Shah Rukh Khan as the A-list actor with the least censorial intervention required in his films.

This is for sure good news for all the fans of SRK-Alia and we now are even more excited for the film. Now this is not the only movie that sailed out safely. R Balki who is the co producer of Dear Zindagi, made this possible for his earlier movies, too! His movies Cheeni Kum, Paa and the last one, Ki and Ka, also made it easily through the censor Board. Cheeni Kum was warned by the board that the weird love story between a 60-year-old man (Amitabh Bachchan) and a 30-year-old woman (Tabu) is something that people may not approve of. However, the movie proved everybody wrong and it became a hit.

Paa even got away with the word ‘bastard’ and also ‘sexy’ due to its proper relevance to the film. Ki and Ka has a similar story where the kisses between protagonists Arjun Kapoor and Kareena Kapoor Khan were warned against, but Balki again paved the way for the movie without deleting a single kissing scene, as he argued that kissing is normal between husband and wife!

Well, as of now Dear Zindagi has passed the censor test and we are just very excited for it. Meanwhile, Alia Bhatt’s Just go to hell dil song from Dear Zindagi is making the youth crazy. The song has portrayed heart break in an epic manner and we cannot help but relate with it. So, we are definitely going to grab some popcorn and watch Dear Zindagi on the first day itself! What about you?
