The internet went haywire yesterday when Bollywood superstar Shah Rukh Khan announced that he wishes to remake the hit American TV series Breaking Bad in India. While SRK fans got all excited, there were others who could not help but laugh at the various possibilities of both the casting and the story as a whole. For the few less informed people who were maybe busy actually studying or hiding under rocks, Breaking Bad is an AMC’s critically-acclaimed series which revolves around a normal chemistry teacher who turns to cooking meth and earning fast and easy money after learning that he is dying of lung cancer. Even the possibility or thought of this being produced in a country where shows are banned for showing the existence of lesbians and gays and beeping out cuss words brought tears of laughter in many eyes. Our beloved AIB (All India Bakchod) could not help but add to the humorous side of this tale.
They recently released a few posters that aptly represent the Indian version of Breaking Bad or as they called it Todenge Ganda! We could not agree more on the casting and loved the extra touch of “directed by FarahKhan”. Here is a look at what AIB expects from the desi Breaking Bad.

Meanwhile, when the Dilwale star Shah Rukh was quizzed if he would take up the role of series protagonist Walter White, the 50-year-old promptly said that “great films don’t work without me, darling”. Well, if this does happen indeed, the audiences are sure to get divided into two groups – one who will embrace SRK’s desi Breaking Bad and other laughing their a** off at the superstar.
