Bollywood actor Shah Rukh Khan was last seen in Dunki in 2023. Fans have been eagerly waiting for his next release. While the news of SRK doing a film with Sujoy Ghosh was doing rounds on the internet, the actor has now confirmed the deets about his upcoming project. In a video which is going viral online, the actor was seen congratulating cinematographer Santosh Sivan on receiving the esteemed Pierre Angenieux Excel Lens awards at the 77th Cannes Film Festival. However, what caught the attention of netizens was the script placed next to the actor.
The name of the film was prominently written on the script, and it read ‘KING.’ Apart from that it also featured some unclear details Excitement of fans touched the sky when the internet speculated that for KING, SRK will be sharing the screen space with his daughter Suhana Khan. Fans have also praised SRK’s speech for Santosh.

As soon as the video went viral on the internet, fans started to spam the comment section. For the last few months, SRK has been in the limelight for his rumoured movie KING. The film is said to be helmed by Sujoy Ghosh and expected to be produced by Siddharth Anand’s Marflix Pictures (known for producing Fighter). Earlier reports claimed that the actor would make a cameo in the film. But, now, as per recent updates, SRK will have the lead role and share the screen with his daughter Suhana Khan.
Earlier, according to a report in Pinkvilla, it was revealed that “Siddharth Anand and Sujoy Ghosh have been constantly in touch with Shah Rukh Khan and Suhana Khan with multiple meetings from October 2023 to February 2024. Sujoy is meticulously working on the script with Sid and SRK. Designing world-class action sequences rests fully on Siddharth.”
