The King of Bollywood is back on the small screen with a new television show India Poochega Sabse Shaana Kaun?. We have seen Shah Rukh Khan employing his charm to cast a spell on viewers with his appearance as a small screen TV host. SRK’s Kya Aap Paanchvi Paas Se Tez Hain? kicked off on a high note, years back. And now fans have high expectations from the show. Filmmaker Farah Khan is the latest to join the bandwagon of celebrities who are hosting shows on television just to connect with the masses on a wider scale.
We wonder if the upcoming show India Poochega – Sabse Shaana Kaun? will be as exciting as Shah Rukh’s previous television endevours a host. Not that the Happy New Year star is a bad host, but some stars should just play it with much innovation, we feel. Shah Rukh excelled as a TV actor in Fauji and Circus before he became a movie star. Produced by Siddhartha Basu, this new age game show on &TV is all set to change the dynamics of non-fiction formats on Indian television. SRK previously hosted ‘Zor Ka Jhatka: Total Wipeout’, ‘Kya Aap Paanchvi Pass Se Tez Hain’ and one season of ‘Kaun Banega Crorepati’.
