Despite the failure of Shahid Kapoor‘s previous release, the Vishal Bhardwaj directorial Rangoon, the actor still has quite a few ace directors lining up to work with him. And as per reports, the newest one to approach the actor is Rakeysh Omprakash Mehra. Shahid was approached to fill in the shoes of Hrithik Roshan, who was earlier set to star in the film titled Kabaddi. Although Shahid played a cricketer in Dil Bole Hadippa!, this will be the first out-and-out sports film for the actor. A source tells DNA, “Shahid and Rakeysh met and discussed the idea of doing a movie together.
