Amid the coronavirus outbreak, soon after Prime Minister Narendra Modi called for a complete nationwide lockdown for 21 days to prevent the spread of the novel coronavirus, Bollywood actor Shahid Kapoor started a chat with his fans on micro-blogging site Twitter as everyone has to stay indoors amid the lockdown. However, as soon as Shahid was open to the chat, a fan asked Shahid that what would Kabir Singh do during a three-week lockdown? To this, Shahid’s response was, ” Hug Preeti (the dog) and make do. Shahid Kapoor-Kiara Advani-starrer Kabir Singh emerged as one of the biggest blockbusters of 2019 and took box office by storm. The film crossed the Rs 300 crore mark at the box office and emerged as Shahid’s biggest solo hit so far in his career. The film was a Hindi remake of Telugu blockbuster Arjun Reddy and was helmed by Sandeep Reddy Vanga.

Shahid Kapoor, who was last seen in Kabir Singh, will be next seen in Jersey, which is a Hindi remake of yet another Telugu movie by the same name. The film is being helmed by Gowtham Tinnanuri and also stars Mrunal Thakur and Pankaj Kapoor in key roles.
