Bollywood’s most talked about wedding of Bollywood actor Shahid Kapoor with beautiful Mira Rajput is just a few days away and the rumors surrounding this wedding have been only increasing by the day. As Bollywood’s Chocolate Boy, Shahid Kapoor, gets ready to tie the knot on July 7 with Delhi based Mira, a close family friend in what appears to be quite a hush-hush affair. Amidst the speculations, there are many details that have been confusing and yet not clear. However the important details are finally becoming clear as the wedding day approaches. Here are five things that you need to know about this much awaited wedding.
1. The Girl
The mystery girl who has been talked about and whose photos have flooded the social media is Mira Rajput. She is a 21-year-old Delhi based girl who is studying English (Hons) at Lady Sri Ram College. They met through the spiritual group, Radha Soami Satsand Beas. Shahid Kapoor and his father, Pankaj Kapur, have been ardent followers of the group. 2. The Date
While many reports have speculated and stated that the wedding will happen on 10th July, a source close to Shahid recently revealed that the wedding will in fact take place on the 7th of July. It will be preceded by a Mehendi and Sangeet program. The wedding and all related functions will take place in a farmhouse in Delhi in typical Punjabi style. 3. The Reception
Shahid Kapoor is rumored to hold a reception in Mumbai on the 12th of July. The venue of this reception is said to be at the Palladium Hotel in Lower Parel. 4. The Dresses
Shahid Kapoor has been known for his style and his fiancé has also been tagged as stylish. This will be echoing on the wedding day as they plan to wear outfits designed by Masaba Gupta. Masaba Gupta is the youngest fashion director of Satya Paul (joined in 2012) who is known for her unconventional prints.
5. The Honeymoon
While there has been no hard bound facts surrounding this topic, it is known that the actor will not be able to shell out much time for a honeymoon at the moment.
