While we are still having a hangover of Sonam Kapoor and Anand Ahuja‘s wedding, here’s another big news. Bollywood and TV actor Shiv Pandit, who shot to fame with the character ‘Inspector Hanuman Pandey’ (opposite Kavita Kaushik aka Chandramukhi Chautala) in SAB TV show FIR, has tied the knot with girlfriend and costume designer Ameira Punvani. The actor, who made his screen debut with critically acclaimed movie Shaitan in 2011, and Ameira finally took the plunge in 2018 and got married in an extremely intimate affair yesterday.
This big announcement was made by, none other than, filmmaker Zoya Akhtar, who is also Ameira’s best friend. Taking to Instagram, Zoya posted a picture of the newlyweds and wrote, “Congratulations Ameira and Shiv #justmarried #loveisintheair #happygirlsaretheprettiest @mspunvanity @shiv_pandit.” Ameira has designed costumes for Akshay Kumar’s Rustom and had also styled Ileana in Raid, recently. She shares a good rapport with Zoya and Anushka Sharma; also very few know that Ameira was one of the guests at Anushka Sharma’s wedding in Tuscany, Italy.
Reportedly, Shiv Pandit and Ameira Punvani, tied the nuptial knot on May 09, 2018 in Mumbai itself. In the picture, the bride was seen sporting an orange ensemble matched with pearl jewellery, while Shiv wore a cream coloured kurta paired with black glares. The two look really happy in the picture that has gone viral. While we await further details about the reception, we wish Shiv and Ameira many congratulations and a happy married life. On the professional front, Shiv Pandit was last seen in the short film LOEV. It was a gay love story that won many awards at several international film festivals. The actor played a young gay NRI, who was discovering and celebrating his sexual orientation with another guy, played by Dhruv Ganesh. The show aired on Netflix earlier in 2017. Shiv Pandit is one of the recognised actors on TV and also co-owns, Chandigarh Cubs cricket team in the Box Cricket League (BCL) along with actress Anita Hassanandani
