Salman Khan and Shilpa Shetty had got into a legal soup due to the word ‘bhangi’ that they used on a show. An FIR was filed against them for hurting the sentiments of Scheduled Caste community. Navin Ramchandra Lade, the general secretary of Rojgar Aghari Republican Part of India and a member of Scheduled Cast(MAHAR) lodged a complaint at the Andheri Police station regarding the usage of the word by Shilpa Shetty and Salman Khan. Salman Khan and Katrina Kaif were on the show to promote their film Tiger Zinda Hai. Lade also stated that he felt insulted and humiliated being a member of Scheduled Caste himself. He also added that that feels very pained and hurt due to the insulting statement made by Salman Khan and Shilpa Shetty.
