Bollywood actress Shilpa Shetty was seen rushing to Mumbai’s Lilavati Hospital on Thursday after her mother Sunanda Shetty was admitted. The actress appeared visibly concerned as she walked into the hospital.
As soon as Shilpa was spotted at the hospital, a video of Shilpa’s arrival at the hospital was posted, captioning it, “#ShilpaShetty rushed to Mumbai’s Lilavati hospital, where her mother has been admitted. Get well soon, Auntyji (sic) started doing the rounds.
The video quickly went viral, and fans started expressing concern and sending heartfelt wishes. One user wrote, “Get well soon.” Another commented, “God bless her,” while a third said, “Prayers for Shilpa’s mom’s speedy recovery.”
As of now, the Shetty family has maintained silence on both Sunanda Shetty’s health and the legal matter. Fans, however, continue to send prayers and positive wishes for Shilpa’s mother’s speedy recovery.
Before this, Shilpa Shetty was in the news after she withdrew her plea seeking permission to travel abroad. Earlier this month, the Bombay High Court had refused to stay a Look Out Circular (LOC) issued against the actress and her husband, businessman Raj Kundra, in connection with an alleged Rs 60 crore cheating case.
The Bombay High Court announced on October 8 that Shilpa and her husband’s request to lift the LOC and aboard travel allowance will only be considered if they pay the disputed amount. The Mumbai Police’s Economic Offences Wing (EOW) had earlier issued the LOC, prompting the couple to seek temporary relief.
However, Shilpa’s counsel later informed the Division Bench, comprising Justice Shree Chandrashekhar and Justice Gautam A. Ankhad, that the actress had decided not to pursue her travel plans for the time being.
