After a lot of drama, Bigg Boss 11 ended last night. After a tough fight between Bhabhiji Ghar Par Hain actress Shilpa Shinde and Yeh Rishta Kehlata fame Hina Khan, Shilpa Shinde finally walked away as the winner of Bigg Boss 11 after beating Hina Khan. Apart from Shilpa and Hina, Puneesh Sharma and Vikas Gupta too were finalists on the show, but the two were out after their number of votes were lesser than TV’s most popular bahus. Before Shinde won Bigg Boss 11 last night, in the last 10 years, celebs like Rahul Roy, Shweta Tiwari, Juhi Parmar, Gautam Gulati have won Bigg Boss in the last few years.

Last year when the makers introduced a new format where commoners too were a part of the show, Manveer Gurjar amongst the commoners emerged victorious. Since Bigg Boss 11 ended last night, we decided to take a look at the past winners of the show and what they have been up to. Rahul Roy

Rahul Roy was the winner of the first season of Bigg Boss. The actor who was popularly known for his role in Aashiqui was missing in action when he participated in Bigg Boss. The actor has now turned into a producer. Aashutosh Kaushik

When Kaushik entered the show, he was best known as the Roadies guy. Aashutosh Kaushik was the winner of Roadies 5.0 before he participated in Bigg Boss 2. The ex Bigg Boss contestant is occasionally seen in Bollywood films. He was a part of Chal Jaa Bapu last year.

Vindu Dara Singh

Vindu Dara Singh became really popular after he won the third season of Bigg Boss. He bagged roles in popular Bollywood films like Housefull and Son Of Sardar. Singh was later involved in the infamous IPL betting scandal. The actor now is busy with a play titled Hello Darling.

Shweta Tiwari

The popular television actress was popular for her role in Ekta Kapoor’s Kasautii Zindagii Ki. After winning Bigg Boss 4, Tiwari was also a part of Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa. The actress then married Abhinav Kohli and has currently taken a break from the industry as she is enjoying motherhood.

Juhi Parmar

The television actress who was recently in the news for ending her eight-year-long marriage with Sachin Shroff won Bigg Boss 5. The actress after she won the show in 2011 took a break from limelight as she wanted to spend time with her family.

Urvashi Dholakia

Another TV actress popular for her role in Kasautii Zindagii Ki, Urvashi won the sixth season of Bigg Boss. Though the actress was on a sabbatical after winning Salman Khan’s Bigg Boss, she is back in the business. Urvashi is now a part of Chandrakanta where she plays the role of Queen Iravati.

Gauahar Khan

Gauahar won Bigg Boss 7. The actress grabbed a lot of limelight in that season thanks to her PDA with then-boyfriend Kushal Tandon who was a contestant on the show as well. Khan and Tandon met inside the Bigg Boss house and fell in love but as it happens with most Bigg Boss couples, the two went separate ways after a while. Gauahar was last seen in Vidya Balan’s Begum Jaan and is often seen in various music videos.

Gautam Gulati

Gautam Gulati was undoubtedly one of the most popular contestants of Bigg Boss 8 and he walked away with the winners’ trophy. The actor’s spat with Karishma Tanna was the highlight of Bigg Boss 8. If you have watched that season, you’ll know what we are talking about. Post Bigg Boss, Gulati was seen in Azharuddin’s biopic which also starred Emraan Hashmi, Nargis Fakhri and Prachi Desai. More recently, he was seen in Behen Hogi Teri which starred Shruti Hassan and Rajkummar Rao.

Prince Narula

When Prince Narula entered the Bigg Boss 9 house, he was already a famous name. Narula had won Roadies X2 and Splitsvilla 8. He won Bigg Boss 9 thanks to his attitude and the fan base he had. After his journey on Salman Khan’s show, Prince made his television debut with Bado Bahu. The Bigg Boss 9 winner is now hosting Squadrnn with Ranvijay Singh.

Manveer Gurjar

Manveer Gurjar won Bigg Boss 10. Last year, the makers introduced commoners to the Bigg Boss house and in the first year itself, a commoner managed to beat celebs to win the show. Gurjar was last seen in Khatron Ke Khiladi 8 which ended last night.
