After we told you about actress Bipasha Basu’s burn injuries from a hair tong, where her face and arm were burnt, another actress has met with the same fate on the sets. Mona Singh, a popular face on Indian television, burnt her face due to hot candle wax! The accident happened when the actress was shooting for Balaji Telefilms’ TV show Pyar Ko Ho Jaane Do with actor Iqbal Khan.

BollywoodLife reports that while shooting a scene for  Pyar Ko Ho Jaane Do, Mona had to blow out candles in an angry mood. Just as Mona was giving the take, a burning candle fell on her face and the wax burnt her skin. Apparently, Mona got a patch on the skin

A source revealed to the website, “Mona was quite shocked with the incident and got a red patch on her face. A doctor was called immediately on the set and the shooting came to a halt for some time. But being the professional that Mona is, she didn’t want the shoot to halt and she continued shooting.” Mona apparently confirmed the accident, saying, “It was one of the most crucial scenes and quite an emotional one to pull off. Thankfully, it was not a severe injury.”
