Well, among Bollywood stars to do that are Salman Khan and Shahid Kapoor,  who are gearing up to undergo a massive physical transformation for their upcoming projects. After essaying the role of Rajput King, Maha Rawal Ratan Singh, Shahid will be seen next in Batti Gul Meter Chalu, in will be seen as a lawyer. However, that’s not what has left us intrigued. According to a Mumbai Mirror report, costume designers, Neelanchal Ghosh and Darshan Jalan, are working overnight and leaving no stone unturned to nail Shahid’s new look for the film. The film that goes on floors in February will also star Shraddha Kapoor and Yami Gautam in the lead. Producer of the film, Prerna Arora told the leading tabloid Shahid plays a young local boy from Uttarakhand who is a die hard romantic. “The costume designer duo has been working with artisans in villages of the North Indian state and sourcing fabrics locally to ensure authenticity. Shahid will be wearing lots of bright sweaters and jackets since the story unfolds in winter,” she said. The actor will also be learning how to speak Garwali for the same. To say that Shahid’s fans are dying to see the actor do away with the stubble and go back to his old chocolate boy next door look all over again, won’t be a lie. Not just Shahid, superstar Salman Khan is also reportedly all set to portray an 18-year-old in his upcoming film, Bharat. The film will reportedly be directed by Ali Abbas Zafar, who along with Salman churned out to massive hits, Tiger Zinda Hai and Sultan. In an interview with DNA After Hrs, Zafar revealed the role Salman will be portraying in the upcoming film. He said, “We have just locked the script. The idea is to make Salman look the way he appeared in Maine Pyar Kiya – from the time he began his career to now. But we will know how much we can achieve only after our complete research is done.” We certainly can’t wait to watch Salman Bhai look like he used to back in the day in his upcoming film, Bharat.
