TV channels have been quite impatient with underperforming shows since the past year. After Dil Dhoondta Hai got dropped from being aired on Star Plus, the next to get axed is the Sanjay Kapoor starrer Dil Sambhal Jaa Zara, which will be taken off air post 2nd February 2018. The show’s star cast is in utter shock as they hadn’t yet even started the main story of their show. The show that was launched back in October was promoted by the channel as a love story for mature audiences and was slotted as late night. However, with the show’s timings clashing with Salman Khan’s Bigg Boss, things got harder for the show, and is now to be scrapped. The show’s fans are pretty disappointed at this and are pleading the show not be taken off of the air. Dil Sambhal Jaa Zara told the story of Ahaana Raichand, (Smriti Kalra) who falls for her late father’s friend Anant Mathur (Sanjay Kapoor). Things get complicated when Ahaana’s mother, who wants to marry Anant, gets to know of this. And even more, when Anant’s nephew Rehaan (Ashim Gulati) falls in love with Ahaana and wants to get her. It was an adaptation of the Turkish drama, Aski Memnu. Do you think taking it off air was the right move?
