The two words the entertainment industry in India kept hearing all of last week were Udta Punjab. The media was abuzz with updates on the censorship row of the Shahid Kapoor-Alia Bhatt-Kareena Kapoor Khan starrer. There was also talk of the impending marriage of cricketer Virat Kohli with Bollywood actress Anushka Sharma. Also, two movies, Te3N and Do Lafzon Ki Kahani, released on Friday.

Udta Punjab – what’s the fuss about?
Udta Punjab landed in apparent censor trouble when even after being rated ‘A’ by the Central Board of Film Certification (CBFC), chief Pahlaj Nihalani asked the makers to make 89 cuts in the film. Anurag Kashyap, one of the producers, got furious when the censors reportedly also wanted the name of Punjab state to be removed from the movie’s title. Nihalani denied this allegation, even as Kashyap and producer Ekta Kapoor moved the Bombay High Court, the hearing of which has been adjourned to Monday, June 13. The Udta Punjab team members held a press conference on June 8 to vent their anger and distress. They were supported by filmmakers Mahesh Bhatt, Zoya Akhtar, Vikas Bahl, Imtiaz Ali, Mukesh Bhatt, Ashoke Pandit and Sudhir Mishra, among others, at the gathering. Actor Amitabh Bachchan and Harbhajan Singh, not present there, were among the supporters of the Udta Punjab team, too.

After Navya Naveli Nanda shared pictures with a boob toy with her gal pals, Shah Rukh Khan’s handsome older son Aryan Khan posed with what seems like a sex doll! Aryan is in Thailand to celebrate his graduation from Seven Oaks School, London. Aryan and his kid sister Suhana Khan sometimes share pictures in revealing clothes rather innocently, but the posts go viral, obviously.
Navya Naveli Nanda bikini dance in Phuket
If you thought Navya shocked you earlier, just look at this video! The bindaas babe, who is the granddaughter of megastar Amitabh Bachchan, was spotted dancing in a bikini and the post went viral on Instagram. Navya is also in Thailand with Aryan Khan and their mutual friends.
Virat Kohli and Anushka Sharma Ki Shaadi!
We all know they have got back together, or rather they were never apart! Bollywood babe Anushka Sharma and her swashbuckling cricketer vice captain boyfriend Virat Kohli are said to have had a meet-the-parents kind of milaap before she left for Budapest with Salman Khan for their movie Sultan. Virat’s dad is no more but he has a doting mother in Delhi, while Anushka’s dad and mom are with her. We hope we hear wedding bells sooner than later!
