Alia Bhatt, one of the most talented actresses in Bollywood today, started shooting for Zoya Akhtar’s Gully Boy along side Ranveer Singh since yesterday. However, yet another film starring her has fans waiting. The actress is slated to star in Mohit Suri’s Aashiqui 3 with none other than her ex-beau Sidharth Malhotra. There have been reports that despite a fall out, the two have decided to be true professionals and work together when a good project comes their way. However, the equation seem to have now changed.

Word around town is that Sidharth and Alia may not work together. Rumour has it that it is Sidharth who seems to have taken the decision. He recently turned down an offer for a commercial alongside Alia. The Aiyaary actor reasoned out that she doesn’t want to work with the same actress again. His new stance, has made every one wonder if Aashiqui 3 is also now a project he has put behind him since it stars Alia as the female lead.

We also hear that the director Suri might go ahead with his ambitious love story with Alia and his favourite Aditya Roy Kapur in the lead. A source tells us, “Aditya and Mohit are good friends. The actor was a part of Aashiqui 2 as well but since the third installment is going to be a new story altogether, it won’t really matter if he is repeated as the male lead.”

Interestingly, Aditya is often spotted coming in or out of Suri’s office and residence, making us wonder if a script reading session is already underway. While fans might wish to see their favourite couple Sid and Alia come back together onscreen, that may just be a distant possibility as of now.
