Here’s a bad new for Dil Se Dil Tak fans as actor Sidharth Shukla (essayed the character Parth Banushali), who first shot to fame with the show Balika Vadhu, has decided to quit Colors’ show due to creative differences with the producer. The hunk, who played the male lead opposite Rashmi Desai and Jasmin Bhasin in Colors’ Dil Se Dil Tak for almost a year now, is not happy with the way his character was shaping up. In a statement to Bombay Times, “I wasn’t happy with the way my character was shaping up and the track didn’t pan out as I was promised. Sidharth hinted at his departure from the show by taking to his Twitter handle to write, “Respect yourself enough to walk away from anything that no longer helps you to grow… Why try to fit in when you are born to stand out…” On the other hand, rumours doing rounds that the makers ousted Sidharth from the show for his unruly behaviour and starry tantrums on the sets of Dil Se Dil Tak. From making the cast and crew wait for several hours during the shoot to abusing his co-actress Jasmin Bhasin and Kunal Verma in the past, Sidharth’s behaviour has just gone from bad to worse. Meanwhile, Rohan Gandotra, who was last seen in Zee TV show Kaala Teeka will replace Sidharth in Dil Se Dil Tak. Producer Sumeet Mittal too confirmed the news to Bombay Times that Naagin 2 star Rohan would be stepping into Sidharth’s shoes. Speaking of Sidharth’s departure from the show, Mittal told the daily, “Sidharth and we had creative differences and hence, we decided to go our separate ways on a good note.”
