Sonam Kapoor buys Rhythm house Rs…
The manager of the store has confirmed the exciting news in a phone interview with Bloomberg News: Sonam Kapoor and Anand Ahuja are now the proud owners of Rhythm House! As founders of the Bhaane Group, the couple’s spokesperson revealed the acquisition but chose not to disclose the purchase price. This marks a significant addition to their impressive portfolio!
Why is the Rhythm house so famous?
Rhythm House, located in the vibrant Kala Ghoda district of Mumbai, spans an impressive 3,600 square feet. Once a beloved hub for music enthusiasts, this iconic store attracted not only renowned musicians but also Bollywood stars. Unfortunately, it closed its doors in 1990, largely due to the rise of music piracy and digital streaming. Now, with Sonam Kapoor and Anand Ahuja at the helm, this storied establishment is set for a thrilling new chapter!
When Nirav Modi purchased Rhythm House
Nirav Modi acquired Rhythm House from the Karamli family in 2017, but the store sadly closed its doors shortly thereafter. Fast forward to 2024, and the iconic establishment has found new life under the ownership of Anand Ahuja’s father, Harish Ahuja, through Shahi Exports Private Limited. According to the spokesperson, all the purchase details have been finalized. The Bhaane Group, already a prominent player in the retail space with Converse and Nike stores across India, is poised to breathe fresh energy into this beloved music store!
