Sonam Kapoor and Anand Ahuja are off to Cannes 2018, just like India.com had exclusively informed you about the couple’s plans post their marriage. We had told you that the two will mix business with pleasure and head to Cannes Film Festival together. Now, we are waiting to see if the Mr and Mrs walk the red carpet together as well as Sonam makes her appearance at Cannes 2018 on May 14 and May 15. If you may recall, Aishwarya Rai Bachchan and Abhishek Bachchan had walked the red carpet as a couple at Cannes 2007, briefly after they got hitched. Seems like Sonam and Anand are following the same route.
Pictures and clips of the two surfaced on the internet last night as they took off for the French Riviera from Delhi airport. The two were seen getting goofy while they clicked some selfies and shot videos enroute. India.com has also learnt that Sonam–Anand will take off to London after Cannes 2018 before the actress heads back to India and gets back to the shoot of her Vidhu Vinod Chopra film Ek Ladki Ko Dekha Toh Aisa Laga. She will also be involved in the promotional activities of Veere Di Wedding (June 1) and Sanju (June 29).
The two had been dating each other since quite a while now and finally got hitched on May 8 in the true blue big fat Indian wedding style. Their wedding reception held on the same evening was attended by the who’s who from the film industry.
