There’s a buzz doing the rounds that Sonam Kapoor is all set to tie the knot with her boyfriend, Anand Ahuja, in Mumbai next month. And needless to say, there’s a media frenzy regarding every minute detail of the wedding —the guest list, the sangeet night, the venue, the bridal wear, so on and so forth. Given that Sonam is quite a fashionista, it goes without saying that fans are interested to know what will she be wearing on her Big Day. We already know that Farah Khan is  all set to choreograph the sangeet, fashion lovers and celebrity watchers, not to forget, fans are keen to know who will be Sonam Kapoor’s official wedding designer?

Sonam is every designer’s dream come true. She loves to experiment with clothes and there are hardly any designers, whose clothes Sonam has not been spotted wearing. There’s a rumour doing the rounds that Sonam had once made her sartorial preferences pretty clear when she was asked about which designer she would like to go for. Out of the variety of designers whose clothes Sonam likes to wear, she has been seen wearing Anamika Khanna ensembles lot many times than we can count. In the February 2018 cover of Brides today, Sonam looked like a gorgeous princess in her designs. The actress wore a classic yet modern red lehenga with ivory floral embroidery and embellishments that made her stand out. The lehenga had it all–delicate craftsmanship, conventional bridal hue and an impeccable silhouette, making it the perfect bridal wear any bride could ever want. Anamika has designed for Sonam several times in the past and has also dressed her up in elegant pastel shades for her numerous Cannes outings, which would make for a contemporary bridal wear. And given that they are such good friends, it won’t be a surprise if Sonam ends up choosing her as her bridal wear designer.
