Splitsvilla X October 8 2017 Written Update: Maddy Gets Eliminated After Battling Baseer In An Edge-Of-The Seat Episode

The show starts with an almost catfight between Divya and Steffi in the Villa room during a discussion over Divya mentioning ‘black magic’ earlier. Priyank has to hold back a pouncing Divya who is agitated by the talk. They further discussed the matter amid much agitation.

On to the next day when the show’s hosts Rannvijay and Sunny came. They asked for an explanation. Everyone agree that nobody in the show likes Steffi on the show. Priyank goes on rampage about Steffi. Steffi insists that she likes herself and does whatever she thinks is right. On that note again they have a tiff. Hritu then blamed Divya of talking about black magic on this show, and Divya hit back saying that Hritu is the one to mention that.

Finally Rannvijay interrupted and told them about the next task, which is based on friendship. They quickly called the teams among the guys, and the task requires the guys to tug of war with their feet in a circle and outmatch each other. It is a tough competition between Haneet, Siddharth and Priyank. Haneet seemed to be working very hard and outplaying the other two who were teaming up. The ladies were supposed to be making a heart puzzle and it Alisha, partnered with Haneet was winning. Siddharth and Priyank were in absolute misery and though could not move, tried to stall Haneet’s progress.

It was an intense affair and Siddharth and Priyank were in a lot of pain. Akshata finished the puzzle first, and Alisha was left with only one piece of the puzzle. Nibedita managed to complete second despite all of Haneet’s efforts. However, Siddharth and Priyanl’s teaming up defeated him. Siddharth’s win, meant Hripu was now safe.

The next task was much more daunting than the first. Baseer and Maddy are asked to take out ribbons from their backs, while hanging from a bridge, over a river, as their two chosen connections (Steffi and Naina) controlled them with a rope. Baseer wins the first round. Next was Naina vs Steffi. Naina wins this round. This brings the score to Baseer 2 – 0 Maddy.

Next round was Haneet vs Priyank,  and if Haneet would lose this, he wouldn’t get a chance to save Maddy. But Haneet wins that round. The score turns to Baseer 2 -1 Maddy. In the next round it is Alisha vs Nibedita.  After a tough match, Alisha won it and brought the score back to level at 2 – 2. In the next round, Baseer and Maddy came back again against each other. The loser of this round says goodbye.

Baseer managed to take off one ribbon first. The match was intense. Maddy was the next to remove a ribbon. Baseer manages to steal the last ribbon and win the contest, which means Maddy is out. Sunny though didn’t let Maddy leave without some parting words. Maddy said sweet goodbye to each and everyone by saying that there are no hard feelings as it was just a game and people wanted to win. Rannvijay informs them of a party, to which everyone cheers. The episode ends
