Sridevi's Sister Srilatha Didn't Break Her Silence On The Actress' Death, Here's Why
The actress passed away on February 24, 2018.
Indian Cinema icon Sridevi passed away in Dubai on February 24. The Kapoor family (Boney Kapoor, Anil Kapoor, Sonam Kapoor, Khushi Kapoor, Janhvi Kapoor, Arjun Kapoor, Anshula Kapoor, among others) is slowly getting back to their normal routines.
Recently, Janhvi, who is making her Bollywood debut with Shashank Khaitan's romantic drama Dhadak, resumed the shooting for the film with Ishaan Khatter, Sridevi's husband Boney Kapoor flies to Chennai to attend a prayer meeting held for his late wife.
Amidst this, did you notice that Sridevi's sister, Srilatha was not seen anywhere in the funeral and last rite pictures? While we wonder why is she maintaining a silence, a source close to the Kapoor family told a leading daily, Srilatha has apparently been asked to not speak on the issue.

In a statement to the daily, the source revealed, "Srilatha has been asked to remain quiet and out of the picture. We don't know why. We've also heard that Srilatha and her husband Satish will be given ownership of Sridevi's bungalow in Chennai," a source close to the Kapoor family told a leading daily.
Reportedly, a few properties of the actress that were bought from her earnings have been registered in her parents' name for tax savings purposes. Legendary veteran actress Sridevi's sudden and untimely death has left a void in Bollywood. From fans, colleagues from the film industry to her family, the majority of the population is yet to come to terms with her death. Sridevi, arguably Bollywood's first female superstar, died in Dubai on February 24, due to accidental drowning, reported media. The actress was cremated with state honours at Vile Parle crematorium in Mumbai. And Sridevi's ashes were immersed in Rameshwaram, then Haridwar. Watch this space for further updates.
