Telugu superstar Mahesh Babu and renowned director SS Rajamouli created a stir online when the duo were spotted at the airport after returning from Dubai. The duo is collaborating for an upcoming untitled film SSMB29 and now fans are anticipating that a new update regarding the film will soon be shared with them. According to the reports, Mahesh Babu and SS Rajamouli wrapped the pre-production work of the film. In a video shared on both X and Instagram, Mahesh Babu and SS Rajamouli were seen exiting the airport.
While Mahesh was seen wearing a black and white jacket with a grey tee underneath and denim, Rajamouli was seen wearing a brown tee with a blue jacket. The Telugu superstar sported a cap, and sunglasses and was seen carrying a shoulder bag. The duo maintained distance from the paps. Sources suggest that the pair had just returned from Dubai.

Fans are speculating that Mahesh Babu and SS Rajamouli might be gearing up to make a new announcement regarding their project, following their recent sighting. The duo has maintained secrecy regarding the film’s storyline and title. However, the RRR director hinted at the film’s progress in a recent interview.
“We started my next film. We completed the writing, we are in the pre-production process. But we haven’t finished the casting yet. Only the main hero is locked, the protagonist of the film is locked. His name is Mahesh Babu, he is a Telugu actor (people hoot). Looks like many of you already know him. He is very handsome. Hopefully, we finish the film a little bit fast,” he said while addressing fans in Japan.
SSMB29 has created a major buzz in recent days. According to reports, the untitled film will be India’s Indiana Jones. The reports also claim that Mahesh Babu’s character in SS Rajamouli’s upcoming film is inspired by Lord Hanuman.
