It looks like nothing is going to stop movie Sui Dhaaga – Made In India from earning the max at the box office. The movie, starring Varun Dhawan and Anushka Sharma, had made an impressive start when it was released on 2,500 screens across India on September 28, earning around Rs 8.30 crore. On day two, the earnings of the comedy-drama movie jumped even higher. In total, the movie made around Rs 20.55 crore on the first two days of its release. Film trade analyst Taran Adarsh, who had dubbed the movie as being simple, emotional and humorous, tweeted about its performance on the second day. According to him, Sui Dhaaga, which is not a movie for the masses, managed to attract the right kind of audience and hence had a good earning at the box office on the second day. Taran also tweeted that looking at the current scenario, Sui Dhaaga should earn around Rs 35 crore in its opening weekend.

It remains to be seen if the movie will do well or not at the box office over the weekend, especially since it was revealed earlier that the movie had been leaked online and is now available for free viewing and download.

However, even if it was leaked online it would not affect its earnings much as YRF has already recovered its cost by selling digital and satellite rights of the film. The film’s Rs 40 crore budget has already been recovered, making everything they earn next an overflow.
