Kapil Sharma and Sunil Grover kill it on The Kapil Sharma Show with the celebs. They have this amazing comic bonding and that has made show popular with Bollywood stars as well as Television viewers. However there were reports about Sunil and Kapil involved in a tiff due to promotion of Sunil’s upcoming film ‘Coffee with D’. There were rumors that Sunil wanted to promote his film on his own show but Kapil cancelled the promotion at the last moment and that made things bad between both humor beings! However, according to the latest reports, both are doing extremely well with each other and there is nothing to worry about, say the sources!
According to the reports by Mumbai Mirror, the director of Coffee with D, Vishal Mishra told them, ” Sunil’s Punjabi film Vaisakhi List was allotted just five minutes last year and Kapil told him that our film would also get five minutes as opposed to the usual 30-minute slot. Eventually, they were not invited at all.” Well, the director looked quite pissed with Kapil through this statement!
However recently, Sunil himself stepped in to clarify these rumors. He told Dainik Bhaskar, ” Yes, I will not be promoting my film on ‘The Kapil Sharma’ show. My film team has taken this decision and I totally stand with it. Also, Kapil Sharma is not at all involved into this decision. He never said ‘no’ to me; all is well between us,” Now, it is really confusing to understand why the teammates from the same film gave different opinion about the issue! For those who do not know about the film, Coffee with D is a film that will show a journalist who tries to get an interview of the Underworld Don Dawood Ibrahim. The movie is set to hit the silver screens on January 6 this year. We also recently saw Sunil throwing light upon the film through various ways. He wrote an open letter to Prime Minister Narendra Modi and also mocked the most watched and talked about journalist Arnab Goswami.
Now as the air is clear between Kapil Sharma and Sunil Grover, we can be assured that Dr.Mashoor Gulati will continue to make us laugh with his extempore jokes on The Kapil Sharma Show!
