Sunjay Kapur’s wife Priya Sachdev Kapur makes first appearance after his death – See pics

Priya Sachdev Kapur made her first public appearance amid the legal tussle where she has claimed Sunjay Kapur's Rs 30000 crore worth estate.

For the first time since the death of Karisma Kapoor’s ex-husband and late billionaire businessman Sunjay Kapur, his third wife, Priya Sachdev, has made a public appearance. She attended the annual convention of the Automotive Component Manufacturers Association of India (ACMA), held at the Taj Palace in Delhi on September 15. Several pictures of her from the event have surfaced on social media.

The ACMA Annual Convention is the flagship event of the country’s auto component industry. Priya Sachdev has been included in the Executive Committee of ACMA for the 2025–26 term. Her professional bio was also updated, effective from September 12.

It is worth noting that Priya is currently embroiled in a legal tussle. Karisma Kapoor’s children have accused her of forgery in a will, in a case filed in the Delhi High Court. There is an ongoing dispute between her and Karisma Kapoor’s children over property worth Rs 30,000 crore.

According to Bar & Bench, the children have accused their stepmother, Priya Sachdev Kapur (Sanjay’s third wife), of altering his will and attempting to take over the entire property. In a petition filed through their mother, Karisma Kapoor, the children stated that after Sunjay Kapur’s sudden demise in the UK in June 2025, Priya unfairly excluded them from the inheritance.

The petition names Priya Sachdev Kapur and her son Azarias, Sanjay Kapoor’s mother Rani Kapoor, and the alleged executor of the will, Shraddha Suri Marwah, as respondents. The petition was heard on September 10. The centre of the dispute is the will dated March 21, 2025, which allegedly bequeaths Kapur’sentire entire property to Priya.
