Sunny Deol is one of the star kids to have made it big in Bollywood, thanks to his father – yesteryear superstar Dharmendra. Now Sunny Deol is taking the legacy forward by soon launching his son Karan Deol in the film industry. Well, that’s nepotism. But when Sunny paaji was asked about nepotism in Bollywood at the trailer launch of Poster Boys, he played dumb or rather safe and questioned back ‘Woh kya hota hai’ (What is that?)”.

Well, there is a huge debate on nepotism in Bollywood, all thanks to Kangana Ranaut who started this. And later Saif Ali Khan, Karan Johar and Varun Dhawan reignited this debate by taking a dig at Kangana’s take on nepotism at IIFA Awards 2017. But the Queen hit back at all of them, especially Saif, by writing an open letter.(ALSO READ: Ranbir Kapoor’s Father Rishi Kapoor Slams Anurag Basu For Jagga Jasoos’ Failure, Calls Him An Irresponsible Filmmaker

All the star kids right from Arjun Kapoor, Alia Bhatt, Varun Dhawan to Shraddha Kapoor have played safe in this debate of nepotism. But only Ranbir Kapoor has openly accepted that nepotism exists in Bollywood. In an interview the Jagga Jasoos actor said, “Of course it exists. I’m sitting here next to you guys (because of it). I have a simple take on nepotism: I believe that my great-grandfather worked hard to give his children a platform, and so on and so forth. I became an actor because of my family, and because I got the opportunity, and the thing is you don’t really get credit for your success because everyone just looks down upon your success.”

Coming back to Sunny Deol avoiding to talk on nepotism, earlier there were reports of a cold war between Sunny and Kangana during their first film together I Love NY (2015) which was a dud at the box office. Apparently, Sunny was super upset with the Tanu Weds Manu actress for not promoting the film. Probably this cold war between them could be one of the reasons why the Ghayal Once Again actor refused to talk on nepotism.
