Sushant Singh Rajput and Jacqueline Fernandez who have headed to Israel to film a song sequence for Tarun Mansukhani’s upcoming thriller-drama, Drive will go partying through Rothschild Boulevard in Tel Aviv. In Israel, bars and café are open all night; it’s the most sought-after party destination. The unit shot for two days in the city, filming a song composed by Tanishk Bagchi. In a statement to Mumbai Mirror, Tarun Mansukhani had said, “Israel is a party place and has great weather. We are going there to capture its vibe and hope to get it right. In the film, Sushant and Jacqueline, along with their friends, are heading there for a holiday.”
A source from the sets informed, Sushant has been working out on the beach every morning at 5 am. The actor is accompanied by his trainer Yeshu Talari. The source added, “The work days are long, usually 15-18 hours, and surprisingly, both Indian and Israeli fans have been lining up outside the set watching Sushant and Jackie shoot and interacting with them after pack-up.”
The cast and crew are having a helluva time in Israel. On Monday, they all travelled to the historic middle-eastern city of Jaffa for sight-seeing and later they met the Israel Tourism Minister, Yariv Levin. Today, before the party begins, the actors will meet the Mumbai-based band – comprises – Sanam Puri, brother Samar Puri, Venky S, Venkat Subramaniyam and Keshav Dhanraj. Post the gig, all will hit a couple of terrace breweries and swing by gallery bars. They have also planned to stop at a few chic wine bars, hipster-fuelled, renaissance-themes clubs too.
