Bollywood diva Sushmita Sen just completed 24 years since she won the Miss Universe Title but the actress’ charm, poise and grace has not diminished even a bit over the years. She said, “So many times people think we don’t encounter things like misbehaviour because we have bodyguards. Let me tell, even with 10 bodyguards around, we are dealing with a crowd of 100 men who have often managed to misbehave with us.” She recalled the incident and said, “Six months ago at an award function, a 15-year old boy misbehaved with me as he thought I wouldn’t realize because of the crowd around. But, he was wrong. She said, “I held him by his neck and took him for a walk. I told him if I make a hue and cry, his life would be over. He denied having misbehaved at first but I sternly told him to acknowledge. Meanwhile on completing 24 years since winning the Miss Universe title, Sushmita shared, “I was 18-years-old when India won Miss Universe for the very first time on May 21, 1994. I am 42 now, still a ‘miss’ with a ‘universe’ inside me. Nothing has changed except the years.Thank you guys for the letters, cards and gifts but mostly for remembering the universe is lovingly abundant and so what we give out, we get more of. I celebrate with you India and Philippines (my second home).”
