Swatantra Veer Savarkar Box Office Collection Day 7: Randeep Hooda’s Film Enjoys Decent First Week – Check Detailed Report

Swatantra Veer Savarkar has completed a week at the Box Office. Directed by Randeep Hooda, the film is set in the pre-Independence era and seems to be doing a decent job at the ticket window.

Swatantra Veer Savarkar first week box office update: Swatantra Veer Savarkar has completed a week at the Box Office and the numbers look decent so far. Starring Randeep Hooda in the titular role, the film follows the unwavering commitment and contribution of Savarkar in the making of ‘Akhand Bharat’. Directed by Randeep himself, the film also features Ankita Lokhande and the talks about their performances have been positive. Swatantra Veer Savarkar opened at a mere Rs 1.05 crore last Friday but it maintained the same momentum throughout the week which has worked in its favour.

The opening-day collection and the seventh-day collection are the same and that rarely happens at the Box Office considering the weekday collection usually sees a downfall. The first weekend collection of the film was Rs 6 crore after which Monday showed impressive numbers and added Rs 2.15 crore – almost as good as Sunday. The collections on Tuesday dropped a bit but remained significant, leading to a week of Rs 11.35 crore nett, as reported by the trade website sacnilk:

The film has now got solid competition with ‘The Crew‘ which stars Kareena Kapoor Khan, Tabu and Kriti Sanon in important roles. It’s a glamorous film following the bonding of three air hostesses juggling to fulfil their dreams amid their job crisis. Besides that, Shaitaan, which was released earlier this month, has already been performing well and will keep on posing a threat to all the releases at the Box Office. Prithviraj Sukumaran’s Malayalam biggie The Goat Life has opened with staggering numbers and a hugely positive word-of-mouth which will impact the collections of the other films including Swatantra Veer Savarkar, especially in the North in Maharashtra.
