Tishaa Kumar, daughter of ’90s actor Krishan Kumar, and co-owner of T-Series, has passed away. She was only 21 years old and was battling cancer. Tishaa was the granddaughter of composer Ajit Singh and niece of Bhushan Kumar. For her cancer treatment, Tishaa was taken from Mumbai to Germany. Tishaa took her last breath in a hospital in Germany. She was also the sister of actress Nattasha Singh. She was frequently seen at T-Series film screenings.
The passing of Tishaa Kumar has brought immense sorrow to her family. The family has issued an official statement, requesting their privacy be honoured and respected as they grieve and come to terms with their loss.
A statement from the family read, “Tishaa Kumar, daughter of Krishan Kumar, passed away yesterday after a prolonged battle with an illness. This is a difficult time for the family, and we kindly request that the family’s privacy is respected.” For those unaware, Krishan Kumar is the younger brother of the late founder of T-Series, music company and film producer, Gulshan Kumar.
For those unaware, Krishan Kumar Dua is an Indian actor and producer, best known for his role in “Bewafa Sanam” (1995) and for owning T-Series, the largest music production company in India. Born into a Punjabi family, Krishan’s father, Chandrabhan, was a fruit seller who migrated to Delhi after the partition of India.
Krishan is the younger brother of Gulshan Kumar, the founder of Super Cassettes Industries, also known as T-Series. Krishan Kumar is married to actress Tanya Singh, the daughter of composer Ajit Singh and the sister of actress Nattasha Singh. The couple has a daughter named Tishaa Kumar, whose untimely demise has left the family in deep mourning.
