Even though she is not seen on the show these days owing to creative differences with the show’s makers, Disha’s popularity is still intact. Using the same popularity to reach out to maximum people, the actor urged all to stay inside their houses and practice self-isolation like how she and her family are doing. Disha talked to SpotboyE in her latest interview and revealed how she’s spending her time during the nationwide lockdown that has been done to curb the growing spread of coronavirus in the country. Disha said she’s spending time with the family and cooking for all these days. The actor, whose performance in the role of Dayaben was appreciated widely, said she’s following everything that PM Modi said in the advisory. Disha said she’s taking care of everyone in the family, eating only home-cooked food, drinking warm water and maintaining positivity in the house. Her character in the show is a great follower of Goddess Durga and in real-life as well, Disha believes that worshipping the Goddess during the ongoing Navratri will bring health and happiness in the family. The actor said chanting the mantras and performing puja bring positive vibrations and strong energy to the house. Therefore, she is making sure that in these tough times, she provides the right support and energies to the family. Disha was quoted saying, “I am following instructions of PM Narendra Modi and not stepping out of the house at all. I know people are complaining of getting bored but I don’t think it should be the case. Navratri is going on, one should concentrate on doing pooja aaradhna. We should chant mantras as it gets a positive vibration inside the house, and that gives you a strong energy to fight with all the negativity.”



The actor went on to talk about her two-year-old daughter who keeps wanting to step out of the house. Disha said as parents, most of their time is spent in diverting their daughter’s mind from playing outside. She said a religious mood in the house brings a lot of satisfaction and happiness in the family and that’s what she’s ensuring these days.

Disha asked all to not move out of the house unless it’s very urgent. She said all her groceries are being delivered to her house and she expects the same sense of responsibility from all. “I am glad people are taking Modi Ji seriously. I just pray to god that we get over this COVID-19 soon,” she said.
