Popularly known as the queen of versatility, Deepika Padukone is going to set the silverscreen on fire with her exceptionally brilliant performances. This year, especially, the actress who looked phenomenal in Piku, is all set to impress us yet again with Tamasha and Bajirao Mastani which are slated to release in November and December, respectively. Deepika is one of those few actresses who never shies away from experimenting with her roles and looks.

In Piku she essayed a Bengali character and her Bengali accent seemed almost perfect! There was no glamour associated with her role in Piku and yet Deepika managed to look stunning ever doing complete justice to her character. In the forthcoming rom-com Tamasha,the leggy lass looks simply sexy, while in the period drama Bajirao Mastani, she dons a traditional avatar and pulls it off brilliantly. Beginning from blockbuster hit Chennai Express, where she depicted the role of a South Indian girl Meenama, Deepika played a Gujarati girl Leela in Goliyon Ki Raasleela Raamleela, depicted a typical Gujarati girl with her dressing, dancing and language. Not only that, next she went on to play a Christian girl in Finding Fanny. Her razor-sharp features, the jauntiness with with she carries herself and her effortless acting skills are rather praiseworthy.

Interestingly, her two releases – Tamasha and Bajirao Mastani – are going to be her second outing with the directors Imtiaz Ali and Sanjay Leela Bhansali. In her first film with Imtiaz Ali Love Aaj Kal, Deepika played a modern girl while in Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s Goliyon Ki Raasleela Raamleela she played the village belle.

Tamasha and Bajirao Mastani, both are highly anticipated films of this year. Deepika looks ultra-modern and stylish in Tamasha and traditionally beautiful in Bajirao Mastani.
