You must be wondering what is it in the picture that started the speculation. If you look carefully in Rajini’s hand, you will see a tattoo that reads MISA 109.

MISA was imposed during Indira Gandhi’s period in 1971 giving them supreme authority.

Coming back to the film, Petta also stars Simran, Trisha Krishnan and Vijay Sethupathi in pivotal roles. One of Bollywood’s most versatile actor Nawazuddin Siddiqui, who has been appreciated lately for his role in the Netflix show Sacred Games, will reportedly be playing a negative role. This will also be Nawazuddin Tamil debut. If reports are to be believed, actor Megha Akash has been signed to play an important role.
