The controversial Telegu actor and model Sri Reddy, who has earlier targetted several big names in the industry has fresh allegations against Tamil actor Vishal Krishna Reddy. She claimed that Vishal has threatened her for the sexual harassment allegations she has made over a few months. Sharing it on Facebook, Reddy wrote, “I am facing threat from Tamil actor Vishal reddy..but I wanted to reveal secrets of darkside Kollywood …” Reddy had earlier targetted Abhiram Daggubati, Koratala Siva, Nani, filmmaker AR Murugadoss, choreographer turned actor/director Raghava Lawrence and actor Srikanth. As reported earlier by Indian Express, Vishal had said that Reddy needs to provide evidence to support her accusation and not just randomly pick anyone. He even added that Reddy is ‘picking her targets randomly.’ “For all we know, I might be the next one to be named by her,” said Vishal.
“You never know who will be named next. I seriously think such grave allegations must be substantiated with evidence. Our laws about sex crimes are lopsided. Any woman can make the allegation and the law will act on that allegation and give the accused a chance to defend himself only later. This is not right,” added Vishal. Raghava had earlier denied all the allegations made by the actor and said, “I have been speaking to the media non-stop about this since she announced my name. I have not been a part of the Telugu industry for the past five years as I have been busy with my own films. She is using my name for publicity, nothing more. The sad thing is, it is distracting everybody from the real issues affecting our country.”
Telugu superstar Pawan Kalyan, added that Reddy needs to stop randomly naming and shaming these actors and fight her case with certain legal measures. Sri Reddy has not done many films and came into the limelight when she stripped in public and targetted Abhiram, son of producer Suresh Babu and brother of Rana Daggubati.
