Television actress Nitika Mukherjee, who plays Nakuul Mehta’s (Shivaay) mother in Star Plus’ much-celebrated show Ishqbaaaz, is a proud ‘mom’ to a little angel. The actress, who is known for her character ‘Pinky Aunty’ in the show, walked down the aisle with a man named, Indrajit Mukherjee in 2006. After 12 years of marital bliss, the couple stepped into the next beautiful phase of their lives. On July 16, 2018, the couple was blessed with a girl child and reportedly the mom and daughter are absolutely doing fine.
According to a report, the baby was born via the C-section. Confirming the news, the actress, in a statement to India Forums, said, “Our beautiful baby girl was born on the 16th of this month. I just came back home two days back as I’d undergone a C-Section. I am very jittery and excited and enjoying every bit of this motherhood experience. Luckily for me, my baby is very calm.” The couple is yet to name their little bundle of joy. However, the couple will soon hold a small function to introduce their little munchkin to the world.
Earlier, the actress had spoken about her pregnancy and the journey, to the ABP News. Nitika had stated, “I am very nervous but i will say this. I am embracing motherhood. I am expecting a little baby 2-3 months later. Bohat lucky manti hoon iss show ko, because is show ne mujhe itna acha character diya, jiske baad me apna thoda chota-mota sa break le sakungi.” We congratulate the newbie parents, Nitika Anand Mukherjee and Indrajit Mukherjee on the arrival of the little one.
