Thalapathy 67 Title Revealed: Vijay and Lokesh Kanagaraj's new collaboration titled 'Leo - Bloody Sweet' is already giving Kamal Haasan starrer 'Vikram' vibes.

Thalapathy 67 Title Revealed: Thalapathy Vijay’s new action-thriller movie with Lokesh Kanagaraj is going to be an out-and-out action-thriller. The first promo released by the makers gives Vikram vibes. It is evident that Lokesh had directed Kamal Haasan, Farhadh Faasil and Vijay Sethupathi in the crime actioner Vikram (2022). The Tamil blockbuster is a spin-off of Kaithi (2019). The movie earlier titled as Thalapathy 67 will now be called Leo – Bloody Sweet. Whether the film has a Kaithi or Vikram connection is still unclear. Since, Lokesh is building the LCU (Lokesh Kanagaraj Universe) comprising his crime sagas, audiences are all geared up for his next. It was recently also speculated that the filmmaker will soon start filming Kaithi 2 as well.

THALAPATHY VIJAY AND SANJAY DUTT STAR IN LOKESH KANAGARAJ’S LEO – BLOODY SWEET

The makers released the teaser and captioned their post as, “We are as excited as you are, with all your support & love we are happy to present you the title of #Thalapathy67 ❤️- Team #LEO ❤️.” In the edge-of-the-seat promo the scene transforms from Vijay preparing varieties of chocolate to wielding a sword. Sanjay Dutt has also been brought on board for a crucial character in Leo – Bloody Sweet. As a battalion of car reaches his house, his sword is dripping with chocolate. Kamal Haasan starrer Vikram also had a similar teaser, but there has been no revelation about both films are part of the LCU so far. Lokesh and Vijay have earlier collaborated in Master (2021), which was a blockbuster at the box office.

Vijay’s Pongal release Varisu has garnered around Rs 217 Crore gross worldwide. The action-drama also stars Rashmika Mandanna in a pivotal role.
