Anil Kapoor has shared screen space with almost every leading actress of his time, but his pairing with this actress was truly special. Every time they came together, it was a surefire hit! Fans loved their chemistry, and filmmakers knew casting them meant a guaranteed blockbuster. What made their partnership even more unique was their off-screen bond.

We are talking about late actress Sridevi, who was not just a co-star but also Anil Kapoor’s bhabhi (sister-in-law) after she married his elder brother, producer Boney Kapoor. They delivered back-to-back hits. Their on-screen magic was undeniable, and together, they starred in some of Bollywood’s most loved films, including Mr India, Lamhe, Judaai, etc.

Anil Kapoor Admired Sridevi

Anil Kapoor was always in awe of Sridevi’s talent. He once revealed that every time he met her, he would touch her feet as a mark of respect. This happened so often that Sridevi would laugh and say, “Anil ji, what are you doing?” But for Anil, it was his way of hoping that a little bit of her talent would rub off on him.

Even though Sridevi is no longer with us, Anil Kapoor continues to cherish the memories they shared. At an award function, he got emotional remembering her, saying, “She was one of the greatest actresses, and I was lucky to work with her. I still feel her presence in my life.”
