We are talking about Churuli, a Malayalam science-fiction horror film, released in 2021. Bankrolled by Lijo Jose Pellissery and written by S.Hareesh, the film features an ensemble star cast including Vinay Fort, Chemban Vinod Jose, Joju George, Soubin Shahir and Jaffar Idukki.

The film follows two undercover police offers, Anthony and Shajivan, who are assigned  to catch criminal named Myladumparambil Joy in the village of Churuli. Upon arrival, they witnessed mysterious and strange events that question them about the truth. As they delve deeper into the  puzzles, they get entangle in a repetitive story that blurs the lines between time and space. Exploring the themes of illusion, human psyche and identity, it offers viewers a though-provoking experience.
