Well, it is none other 2015’s superhit release Drishyam. Helmed by Nishikant Kamat, The film stars Ajay Devgn, Tabu, Shriya Saran, Ishita Dutta Mrunal Jadhav, Rajat Kapoor, Kamlesh Sawant and Rishab in crucial roles. The crime thriller is a remake of Malayalam megastar Mohanlal’s 2013 hit release with the same title.

In 2022, the film returned with its sequel titled Drishyam 2 and undoubtedly heaped all the praises for its gripping suspenseful plot. The story picks up seven years later after the events of the first installment when the cops reopen Sam’s murder case, questing back Vijay and his family’s involvement in the case. Upon its release, the film was a box office success and earned Rs 329 crore globally, emerging as the second-highest grossing Hindi film of 2022.
