Bollywood actor Harshvardhan Rane has had a dream run at the box office. His latest release, Ek Deewane Ki Deewaniyat, co-starring Sonam Bajwa, has turned out to be one of the biggest surprises of the year. The romantic drama not only struck a chord with audiences but also became one of 2025’s most profitable films.

The film, made on a modest budget of Rs 25 crore (excluding P&A), has reportedly grossed around Rs 79 crore so far, earning an impressive 220% profit at the box office. Riding high on this massive success, Harshvardhan has now signed his next big project, Force 3, alongside John Abraham.

How much is Harshvardhan charging for Force 3?

According to a report by Bollywood Hungama, the actor has been paid a whopping Rs 15 crore for his role in Force 3. A source quoted in the report said, “Harsh has proven that he can pull audiences to theatres at a time when even established stars are struggling. He’s got a strong, loyal fan base, and the makers feel investing in him is a safe bet.”

The film, which will be produced under John Abraham’s home banner, is being directed by Bhav Dhulia.

Harshvardhan confirms the news

Confirming the development himself, Harshvardhan took to Instagram and shared a heartfelt note on his Story. He wrote, “John Abraham has finalised Harshvardhan Rane to take the Force franchise forward. All I can say right now is thank you to this angel named John sir, and thank you to the one above for making this happen. Can’t wait to start shooting in March 2026.”

His message quickly went viral, with fans flooding social media to congratulate him on this big leap in his career.

When will Force 3 go on floors?

As per early reports, the shooting of Force 3 is expected to begin by the end of 2025. The makers are currently finalising the rest of the cast, and a strong actor is reportedly being considered to play the negative lead.

With Rane stepping into the action-thriller space after a successful romantic outing, expectations are sky-high.
