A recent incident has stirred widespread controversy after a video surfaced of two film-industry professionals performing dangerous bike stunts on a busy city road. The footage captured them riding a motorbike while carrying out risky manoeuvres in full view of the public, and the act quickly triggered alarm among traffic authorities and social media users alike.
The individuals involved are veteran actor Tiku Talsania (aged 71) and actress Manasi Parekh (aged 39). According to reports, the video shows Manasi performing a “Titanic-style” pose while standing on a moving bike, while Tiku is seen rising from his seat during the ride. The duo was reportedly shooting promotional content for an upcoming Gujarati film titled Misri, helmed by Kushal Naik, when the stunts were carried out. After the clip went viral, the Ahmedabad Traffic Police registered a formal case under relevant sections of the Motor Vehicles Act and local traffic laws, citing “reckless and negligent driving at high speed, and performing stunts on a public road” as grounds for legal action.
Public reaction to the video was swift and mixed. Many condemned the stunt as irresponsible, pointing out that it not only endangered the performers’ own lives, but also those of other motorists, pedestrians, and bystanders.
