This actor started his career by writing short movies

The actor is Agastya Nanda. Connected to two of the most well-known families in the industry, Agastya Nanda is the grandson of the legendary Amitabh Bachchan and the great-grandson of iconic filmmaker Raj Kapoor.

He started writing and directing short films for YouTube as a young teenager. Having attended Sevenoaks School in England and later moved to New York, his dedication to storytelling continued to grow. In 2023, he marked his debut with Zoya Akhtar’s The Archies, where he stars alongside Suhana Khan and Khushi Kapoor.

The actor’s rumoured affair with daughter of a massive star

There are rumours that Agastya Nanda is dating his co-star, Suhana Khan, daughter of the iconic actor, Shah Rukh Khan. The two starred together in Zoya Akhtar’s The Archies, as Archibald ‘Archie’ Andrews and Veronica ‘Ronnie’ Lodge. They are often seen together and last week, Suhana Khan shared a goofy photograph with Agastya Nanda on the occasion of his birthday.

The actor says that he lost followers on social media

In a candid interview, the actor revealed that he used to struggle with the pressures of social media. He had an account but constantly stressed over what to share, which filter to use and how to showcase himself. When he decided to share something, the fluctuations in his follower count left him discontented.

He said, “I thought this was my big reveal, but I have arrived. I am going to make a public account, and everyone is gonna love me and follow me. But people started unfollowing me. So, I had around 800 followers when I was private. I made it public; I reached 20,000. And the day after, I was at 500. So, I was like, how did that even happen? So, now I avoid it. Honestly, that’s best if I stay away.”

The actor’s upcoming project

Agastya Nanda will star in Sriram Raghavan’s Ekkis, which focuses on the bond between a father and son. The film will also feature veteran actor Dharmendra, and Jaideep Ahlawat. The film is touted to be about Arun Khetarpal, a 1971 war hero. While Agastya Nanda will play the role of the protagonist, Arun Khetarpal, Dharmendra will essay the role of his father, ML Khetarpal.
