Recently, the actor appeared in an interview where he opened up about his interfaith marriage and how life changed afterward.

In the same year, Raghu tied the knot with Natalie Di Luccio, who is 14 years younger than him. Raghu’s wife is Christian, whereas he himself is of Telugu origin.

Speaking about his interfaith marriage, Raghu said, “We had a Telugu wedding at the beach, followed by a Christian wedding, and then we included a few Punjabi rituals… basically, we curated the fun we wanted to have. Of course, there was also the court wedding because ours was an interfaith marriage, and there were certain rules in place to get it registered.”

Raghu also shared that he quit smoking because Natalie disliked it. He used to smoke one or two packs a day, but after they started dating, he realized she had never been around smokers. He recalled an instance when he smoked before picking her up for a date.

He said, “I used to be a heavy smoker. Finishing a pack or two daily was routine. But when we started dating, I realized not only had she never smoked, but she had also never dated a smoker.”

He further added, “I remember taking her out on a date after we first connected. Before picking Natalie up from her place, I smoked at my house. When I picked her up, I leaned in for a kiss, and I still remember her knee-jerk reaction to the smell of cigarettes. ‘I forgot you smoke,’ she said. That moment made me realize that if I saw a future with her, I couldn’t be a smoker anymore.”
