One such notable rivalry was between stalwarts Salman Khan and Danny Denzongpa. It all started during the filming of the 1991 movie Sanam Bewafa and finally concluded on the sets of Jai Ho in 2004.

Why was Danny Denzongpa disappointed with Salman Khan?

According to Bollywoodshaadis.com, Danny, know for his punctuality, appeared on time for the shoot of Sanam Bewafa. However, his  co-star Salman Khan, arrived quite late than expected, leaving Danny waiting for a long time. Frustrated as he was, Danny lost his temper after Salman arrived and shouted at him on the set. Disappointed by his unprofessionalism, Danny never worked with Salman after that. He kept rejecting offers with Salman for 23 years. However, the two then reunited and shared screen space in Sohail Khan’s Jai Ho.

Danny Denzongpa and Salman Khan’s incredible journey

Danny Denzongpa, the legendary actor known for his powerful screen presence, has delivered some unforgettable performances and has also worked in Tamil, Nepali and Bengali films. Salman Khan is a renowned actor, producer and TV star, who has starred in Hindi films for over three decades. The two time National Award winner, he first made debut in 1988 with Biwi Ho Toh Aishi and catapulted to fame with Maine Pyar Kiya (1989). In the 1990s, the actor has given us some massive hits such as Karan Arjun, Biwi No.1, Hum Aapke Hain Koun, and Hum Saath Sath Hai.
