This bodybuilde turned actor has worked with Salman Khan in Tiger 3. He died at 53.

Punjabi actor and bodybuilder Varinder Ghuman passed away on October 9, 2025, after suffering a cardiac arrest. Media reports suggest that Ghuman was undergoing some treatment when he passed away. After the news of Ghuman’s demise broke, many people, including Union Minister of State Ravneet Singh Bittu, shared condolence messages. Who was Varinder Ghuman

Born in 1983, Varinder hailed from Gurdaspur, Punjab. He was best described as the world’s first vegetarian professional bodybuilder. Ghuman won the Mr. India competition and secured second place in Mr. Asia.

He was appointed by Arnold Schwarzenegger as his brand ambassador to promote health products in Asia. Additionally, he became the first Indian bodybuilder to earn the IFBB Pro Card.

Coming to his acting career, in 2012, Ghuman bagged the lead role in the film Kabaddi Once Again. You will be amazed to know that Varinder Ghuman also featured in Tiger 3 with Salman Khan. His role as Shakeel, a Pakistani prison guard, caught the eyes of the audience.

Apart from movies, Ghuman also enjoyed a massive fan following on Instagram, with 1 million followers online.
