On January 16, a man broke into actor Saif Ali Khan’s home in Mumbai’s Bandra area and attacked him multiple times with a knife during a scuffle. This incident raised serious concerns about the building’s security. However, now that Saif and Kareena Kapoor have returned home, they have entrusted their security to a ‘villain.’
Saif Ali Khan, who was discharged from Lilavati Hospital on January 21, was seen returning home safely with tight security. Fans were relieved to see him in good health after the terrifying attack, which had left him with severe injuries to his neck, spine, and hands. After spending six days at the hospital, Saif returned to his Mumbai residence, Satguru Sharan Apartments. Following the tragic incident on January 16, Saif and Kareena have decided to make major changes to their security setup, placing it in the hands of Bollywood and TV personality Ronit Roy’s security agency.
Saif and Kareena have enlisted the services of Ronit Roy’s security firm, which has previously protected several prominent stars. Ronit Roy, known for his roles in TV shows like Kasautii Zindagii Kay and films like Boss and Kaabil, has been running the agency for the last 25 years. He started the firm with Bollywood star Aamir Khan back in 2000 while Aamir was shooting for Lagaan. Ronit’s security firm, “Ace Security and Protection,” has worked with top celebrities like Amitabh Bachchan, Akshay Kumar, Katrina Kaif, and Karan Johar.
Despite the high-profile nature of the case, Ronit Roy refrained from discussing the specifics of Saif’s security but confirmed that they have been with him all along. Meanwhile, Saif and Kareena’s Bandra residence has undergone several security upgrades. The actor’s balcony now has metal grills to prevent any unauthorized access, and additional CCTV cameras have been installed on Saif’s floor.
The attacker, who was caught by the police, confessed that he had entered the building with the intention to rob. He used a pipe to climb from the 6th to the 12th floor, and when he found the back door to Saif’s flat open, he entered through a bathroom window. He was unaware that he was breaking into a Bollywood star’s home and only learned of it after the media coverage. The attacker, who had entered India illegally seven months ago, had used a West Bengal resident’s ID card to buy a SIM card before changing his name to Vijay Das.
