Deepika Padukone and Ranveer Singh celebrated their daughter Dua’s first birthday on September 8. The actress gave a touching glimpse of their low-key celebrations by sharing a beautifully simple picture of a homemade chocolate cake. She posted the picture of the cake which she especially baked for Dua.
On Wednesday, Deepika took to her Instagram and shared an adorable post, giving fans a glimpse of their intimate celebrations. The actress captioned the post, expressing, “My love language? Baking a cake for my daughter’s 1st birthday!.” Fans and followers were left in awe of her sweet gesture, while also congratulating the couple and extending their wishes to baby Dua.
Deepika Padukone and Ranveer Singh welcomed their daughter Dua on September 8 last year. The couple has, since then, not revealed the face of their baby girl and haven’t allowed the media to capture her photos in public. Following the birth of their daughter, they hosted an intimate party for paparazzi where they revealed her face, but sweetly requested the media personnel to not leak her pictures in public, choosing instead to do it when they feel comfortable.
In a collaborative post, Deepika and Ranveer formally introduced their daughter’s name, writing, “Dua: meaning a prayer. Because she is the answer to our prayers.”
On the professional front, Deepika Padukone, following her maternity break, is gearing up for Atlee’s next with Allu Arjun. Ranveer Singh, on the other hand, will star next in Dhurandhar, followed by Don 3.
